An English site about Folengo (aka Merlin Cocai). On the page you will find a link to an Italian/English PDF version of his 1527 book "Il Caos (or Chaos?) del Triperuno":
http://www.folengo.com/Chaos_Uploads/To ... 1%2009.pdf
The section about Tarot begins at page 137. It seems to me a good translation.
For instance, in the famous last fifth sonnet, the translator takes into account the punctuation in:
"Per qual Giustizia (disse) a te si rese
né Papa mai né, s’è, Papessa alcuna?”
So the translation is:
“By what Justice” said [Love], “did neither a Pope, nor
(if there is one) a Papesse, ever submit to you?”

Re: Folengo - English translation
2Wow Marco, thanks for finding that! I'm so grateful to the author (Ann E. Mullaney).
I'm going through the texts now.
