Historical Pictures of Men Reading Cards

Does anyone know of any pictures - paintings, etchings or photographs - of men reading cards (tarot or playing cards) prior to 1940?
I have a lot of images of women doing card readings at:

But I'd like to find some images of men. The earliest male image I currently have is a movie clip from Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors (1965).

I currently have about 120 pictures of cartomancy before the 1930s. Only about 7% of them show men actually reading the cards and almost all of those are from the very late 19th and early 20th centuries. Eventually I'll be posting all these pictures with commentary as a gallery on my blog. I think they help make clear much that goes unmentioned in the written texts - from the actual role of cards in people's lives and interactions to the assumptions of the artists.

If anyone has anything to contribute I'd love to hear about it.

Mary

Hi Mary,

I've been following and enjoying the thread on Aeclectic, but I don't personally have anything to add. Hopefully, if other people have any images the will contribute them.
