... sometimes one finds an interesting text, but it's totally another theme and not that, what one researches in the moment. So here is a place for such findings, if they belong to 14th century.

Here's such a text, which looks a little bit like a strange lot book. Actually a translation of something like this.

MS. Digby 46. Fortune-telling tracts (Bernardus, Silvestris, Experimentarius, etc.) with illustrations. English, third quarter of the 14th century.

... lived 12th century. The divination system somehow works with 48 birds ... which reminds on the Martin Flach text, who later became "earliest playing card divination" in 1505.
